| W. Bro Boyle is the Worshipful Master of George Harradon Mark Lodge, No 956 and receives his MBE in recognition of his exceptional contribution to swimming and water polo over the last sixty years. | |
| At one point Alan was responsible for coaching three club teams, one county team, two district teams, and two regional teams. As coach of Warrington Swimming and Water Polo club he won over sixty championships, tournaments and leagues. Alan is well recognised throughout the water polo world not only as a coach, but also as a referee for local leagues and until recently National league and ASA, (Amateur Swimming Association) level. |

| Not satisfied with the above Alan has also taken on significant roles in the Regional administration and on the ASA National Governing body, in relation to constitutional matters, rules and regulations. | |
| The members of George Harradon Mark Lodge will be able to congratulate W. Bro Boyle at their next meeting on 19th February, when the lodge not only hosts the Liverpool Mark Group Festival, but is also honoured with a visit by the Right Worshipful Grand Master and the Provincial Team. | |
